Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident at Cedar Street and Maple Street in Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz, California (June 7, 2019) – The authorities have arrested a suspect in a suspected DUI pedestrian accident on Wednesday evening.
According to a local news source, the accident happened in the area of Cedar and Maple streets at about 7:12 p.m. June 5.
As per the report, 27-year-old Alejandro Fernandez was allegedly driving the car while under the influence when he struck a 55-year-old woman from Vacaville.

The woman, who remained pinned underneath the vehicle, was seriously injured in the collision and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
The unidentified woman was in critical but stable condition as of Thursday night.
Fernandez fled the scene but was later apprehended.
