38-Year-Old Sacramento Man Killed in Vacaville DUI Car Crash on Highway 80 at Nut Tree Off-Ramp; 34-Year-Old Sacramento Man Arrested

Vacaville, California (January 26, 2019) – One person was killed early Saturday morning in an alleged DUI crash in Vacaville, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened at around 1:28 a.m. on Interstate 80 at the Nut Tree off-ramp.
According to authorities, a 34-year-old Sacramento man was driving the wrong way on Interstate 80 when his vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle operated by a 38-year-old Sacramento man.
The 38-year-old Sacramento man was taken to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been disclosed pending identification and notification of family.
The unidentified wrong-way driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
