Terrence Clarke Killed in Chatsworth Car Accident at Winnetka Avenue and Nordhoff Street

Los Angeles, California (April 23, 2021) – Former University of Kentucky basketball player Terrence Clarke, 19, died in a car crash in Chatsworth, Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened on Winnetka Avenue near Nordhoff Street at about 2:10 p.m. April 22, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Clarke reportedly drove through a red light at the intersection and crashed into another vehicle.
The impact of the crash caused the athlete’s vehicle to drift off the roadway where it struck a light pole and crashed inti a brick wall.

Clarke was taken to an area hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
Clarke, who was born in a Dorchester, Massachusetts, played his lone season with the Wildcats in 2020-21 and was preparing for the upcoming NBA draft at the time of his death.
The University mourned Clarke as a young man loved by all who had all of his dreams and hopes ahead of him.
