Harley Davidson Rider Injured in Union City Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 880
Union City, California (March 30, 2019) –A motorcyclist sustained severe injuries after being struck by a bus in Union City Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported at around 1:37 p.m. March 29, on the northbound Interstate 880 Freeway.
The CHP report indicated that a bus collided with a Harley Davidson motorcycle in the first lane for reasons still under investigation.
Motorcyclist Hurt in Union City Crash with Bus
The rider suffered a broken leg following the crash. The victim received first aid treatment from the paramedics who were called to the scene.
The motorbike sustained major damage as a result of the accident. The officers are still carrying out an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
