27-Year-Old Turlock Woman Killed in Oakdale Crash on Highway 108 near Lancaster Road
Oakdale, California (April 30, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning traffic that killed a 27-year-old woman from Turlock in Oakdale.
The deadly accident happened at around 6:10 a.m. on Highway 108, just east of Lancaster Road.
According to the police, the woman was driving westbound on Highway 108 and was approaching a bend in the roadway when, for unknown reasons, her 2006 Volkswagen sedan drifted into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with an oncoming International box truck.
Due to the crash impact, both vehicles came to a stop in the eastbound lane with major damage.

Sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the box truck suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
