Albany, California (May 1, 2021) – A traffic collision involving multiple vehicles Friday morning in Albany injured at least one person, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The crash took place at about 8:40 a.m. on the Interstate 80 Freeway between Buchanan Street and Central Avenue 

As per the CHP dispatch, a silver Eco Van, a green BMW G3, a white truck, a white Nissan, and a gray sedan were involved in the April 30th collision.

Due to the impact, the van acquired major front-end damage

Albany Multi-Vehicle Accident Friday Morning

An individual riding in the van sustained unspecified injuries in the crash.

The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
