Stanislaus Deputy Sustains Injuries in Turlock Motorcycle Crash at Tully Road and Main Street

Turlock, California (June 25, 2020) –The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances that led to an alleged DUI motorcycle crash Thursday morning in Turlock.
The traffic collision involving a Stanislaus Sheriff’s Office motorcycle occurred at Tully Road and Main Street at around 6:50 a.m.
The accident happened when a Ford pickup truck traveling eastbound turned left in front of an oncoming motorcycle operated by an on-duty Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputy westbound on Main Street approaching Tully Road.
The Stanislaus Sheriff’s Office motorcycle then crashed with the Ford pickup.
Turlock Motorcycle Crash at Tully Road and Main Street Injures Stanislaus Deputy
The Ford driver, 33-year-old David Arthur Rolland, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The deputy sustained injuries and was rushed to a local trauma center for medication.
Rolland was later arrested by police on DUI charges.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
