3-Year-Old Boy Among 3 Injured in Turlock Collision at Golden State Boulevard and Griffith Avenue

Turlock, California (July 18, 2021) – Three people, including a 3-year-old boy, were injured Saturday night in an alleged DUI crash south of Turlock, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision happened at around 8:38 p.m. Saturday, July 17 in the area of south Golden State Boulevard and Griffith Avenue near the Merced County border.
According to the CHP, a 25-year-old man was driving a black sedan in the area when, for an unknown reason, his vehicle collided with a Chevy pickup truck carrying three people.
Boy Airlifted after Turlock 2-Vehicle Crash
The man driving the Chevy and his two passengers, a woman and the 3-year-old boy, sustained unspecified in the crash. The boy was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
The sedan driver was treated for minor injuries before being arrested on suspicion of DUI.
