Boy Injured in Car Accident at Golden State Boulevard and Griffith Avenue in Turlock
Turlock, California (July 18, 2021) – A 3-year-old boy was seriously injured in a suspected DUI car crash in Turlock on Saturday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 8:38 p.m. in the area of south Golden State Boulevard and Griffith Avenue near the Merced County border.
A black sedan is reported to have collided with a Chevy pickup truck for unknown reasons.
A 3-year-old boy in the Chevy was seriously injured in the accident and was flown to an area hospital for treatment.
The male driver of the Chevrolet and a female passenger were treated for unspecified injuries.
The 25-year-old driver of the sedan suffered minor injuries and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
