Tulare County, California (June 18, 2021) – One person was killed Friday afternoon in a car crash at an intersection in Tulare County, the California Highway Patrol said.
The deadly accident happened on Avenue 229 and Road 48.
According to the CHP, two vehicles were involved in the crash. One of the vehicles burst into flames after the impact.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and rescued one person who was trapped in their wrecked vehicle.
Sadly, the freed person was declared dead at the scene. The name of the victim was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Both lanes of the road were blocked during the investigation.
