Truckee Accident on Highway 89 near Silver Creek Campground Possibly Resulted in Injuries
Truckee, California (July 8, 2021) – Possible injuries were reported following a traffic collision Thursday morning in Truckee.
A Chevrolet pickup truck reportedly crashed head-on with a car on River Road (Highway 89) near Silver Creek Campground at around 11:30 a.m. on July 8.
Although the California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how the crash occurred on the highway, the smaller vehicle overturned onto its roof.

All involved parties were attended to by medical personnel who arrived at the scene shortly after the accident.
