Minor Injuries Sustained in South Lake Tahoe Crash on Highway 89 at Portal Drive
South Lake Tahoe, California (July 9, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle collision that took place Thursday afternoon in South Lake Tahoe, resulting in minor injuries.
The incident was reported at around 1:30 p.m. on Highway 89 at Portal Drive.
A brown Dodge Durango and a green Subaru Outback collided, blocking both northbound and southbound traffic lanes.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists.
The report said only minor injuries were sustained in the crash. Details about the number of patients and whether anyone was hospitalized were not mentioned.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
