Three People Killed in Truckee Plane Crash near Truckee-Tahoe Airport
Truckee, California (July 27, 2021) – Three people were killed when a small plane crashed Monday afternoon near the Ponderosa Golf Course in Truckee, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 1:18 p.m. Monday, July 26, at the Truckee-Tahoe Airport, which is located along Reynolds Way.
According to the authorities, the plane, described as a Twin Turbo Jet Challenger 605, was attempting to land at the Truckee-Tahoe Airport when it crashed into the forest near the airport
Three people onboard the plane were killed in the crash. Their names have not been disclosed pending notification.
The crash remains under investigation.
