At Least 1 Hospitalized after Topanga Crash on Pacific Coast Highway at Topanga Canyon Boulevard
Topanga, California (March 5, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Thursday night in Topanga, according to authorities.
The incident involved three vehicles and transpired at about 8:26 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway at Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
The California Highway Patrol said a white van, an SUV, and a third car collided for unknown reasons.
The impact sent one of the cars 50-feet off the roadway into the sand down at the beach.
Firefighters responded to the scene and transported at least one person to the hospital. The victim suffered unknown injuries.
A SigAlert was issued closing the No. 2 lane of southbound PCH, just south of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, for an unknown period.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
