Tina Borzoni Among Victims Hurt in Canyon Crash on Highway 89 and Highway 70
Canyon, California (July 11, 2019) – A 52-year-old woman from Chester was among victims injured last Wednesday in a traffic collision involving two vehicles in Canyon, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at the Greenville Wye on Highways 89 and 70 Wednesday, July 3.
As per the CHP report, Tina Borzoni, 52, of Chester, was driving a white 2010 BMW X5 southbound on Highway 89 when she stopped at the intersection of Greenville Wye. She then proceeded into the intersection and made a left turn to travel east on Highway 70 but collided with a westbound black 1987 Toyota pickup.

Barzoni sustained minor injuries.
A passenger in the BMW and the driver of the Toyota suffered major injuries. The driver was taken to Enloe Medical Center in Chico while the passenger was transported to Plumas District Hospital in Quincy.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the incident.
