Timothy Wallace ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Modesto Crash at Sylvan Avenue and Wood Sorrel Drive

Modesto, California (March 4, 2021) – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who was killed Wednesday afternoon in a traffic accident in Modesto as Timothy Wallace, 62, of Riverbank.
The deadly crash occurred at around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, at the intersection of Sylvan Avenue and Wood Sorrel Drive, just east of Oakdale Road.
According to the authorities, a 2004 Saturn sedan had stopped for a red light on Wood Sorrel Drive and then pulled out to turn left onto Sylvan Avenue.
For unknown reasons, the Saturn collided with a motorcycle driven eastbound on Sylvan Avenue by Wallace.
Deadly Motorcycle Crash on Sylvan Avenue in Modesto
Wallace was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving measures performed by emergency personnel.
The driver of the Saturn, identified as Sherry Duden, 39, of Modesto, was not injured in the crash.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
