1 Person Killed in Thousand Palms Car Accident on Interstate 10 near Monterey Avenue
Thousand Palms, California (October 2, 2020) – One person was killed in a car accident on Thursday evening in Thousand Palms, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 8:20 p.m., on October 1, on eastbound Interstate 10, west of Monterey Avenue.
According to the police, the single-vehicle accident occurred on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
First responders arrived at the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in the vehicle.

Sadly, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. It was not clear if the victim was the trapped party.
