Thousand Oaks, California (May 2, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a traffic collision that happened in Thousand Oaks Friday afternoon.

The April 30th collision occurred on U.S. Route 101 at Lynn Road shortly before 3:40 p.m.

At least two vehicles, including a black car and a gray or silver BMW, crashed on the roadway for undetermined reasons.

CHP Investigating Thousand Oaks Collision

At least two people sustained minor injuries following the crash. Officials said one of the victims was a child riding in the BMW.

The accident remains under active investigation.
