Thermal, California (September 26, 2019) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Thermal, according to a local news source.
The crash took place at about 4:42 p.m. September 25, on SR 86 north of Airport Boulevard.
According to CHP, the crash involved multiple vehicles and two big rigs.

Several people were taken to the hospital for treatment. The number of those hurt and the extent of their injuries was unknown.
A sandstorm that went through the east valley was suspected to be a factor in the incident.
The collision is under investigation.
