At Least 1 Injured in Highway 86 Truck Crash at Sunrise Drive in Thermal
Thermal, California (April 13, 2020) – At least one person suffered major injuries in a car collision involving a Coachella Valley Water District truck on Highway 86 in Thermal, the California Highway Patrol reported.
As per the report, the truck collided with a white Ford Explorer at about 8:40 a.m., Monday, for unknown reasons.
The crash occurred in the northbound lanes of the highway at Sunrise Drive.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to transport at least one person who suffered major injuries to the hospital.
The Explorer acquired front-end damage in the crash. Both vehicles were towed away from the crash scene.
CHP is investigating the crash.
