Temecula, CA: Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 15
1 Hospitalized after Temecula Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 15 near Temecula Parkway/SR-79
Temecula, California (September 26, 2019) – A person was hospitalized Thursday morning after a traffic accident involving a motorcycle and a truck in Temecula, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place at about 7:25 a.m. on Interstate 15 near Temecula Parkway/SR-79.
As per the CHP report, a truck collided with a motorcyclist on the southbound side of Interstate 15 for reasons still under investigation. The force of the impact caused the motorcyclist to crash into the center divider of the freeway and fly over the wall.
The rider then landed on the northbound side of the freeway.
Authorities said one person was taken to a hospital for treatment. The name and current condition of the victim were not immediately disclosed.
The crash caused traffic congestion on the southbound side of Interstate 15.
The accident remains under investigation.
