Tehama County, California (June 13, 2019) – 23-year-old Telvin Sauveur of Orlando, Florida was one of the four people who were hospitalized Monday morning following an accident involving multiple semi trucks in Tehama County.

The crash happened just before 11:45 a.m., June 10, on northbound Interstate 5, just north of Flores Avenue and involved three big rigs and a passenger vehicle.

Authorities said a vehicle was heading north on Interstate 5 when, for an unknown reason, it burst into flames. As vehicles starting slowing down for the crash, a 2015 Freightliner big rig failed to slow in time and rear-ended a 2017 Freightliner hauling a box trailer.

The crash caused a domino reaction which pushed the 2017 Freightliner into a stopped 2013 Freightliner big rig hauling a flat-bed trailer.
