Four Hospitalized after Tehama County Crash on Lake California Drive near Del Mar Drive

Tehama County, California (March 18, 2021) – Four people were injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Tehama County, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident, which involved two pickup trucks, happened at around 10:20 a.m. on Lake California Drive near Del Mar Drive.
As per the CHP report, a Dodge pickup truck and another pickup truck collided, possibly head-on on Lake California Drive.
As a result of the collision, the Dodge pickup truck rolled over while the other pickup truck went up an embankment. Both vehicles sustained major front-end damage.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated three people who were trapped in the overturned vehicle.
A total of four patients were taken to area hospitals, at least one with major injuries. Their names and conditions were not immediately disclosed.
