Anaheim, California (July 7, 2021) – Authorities have identified the man who died early Saturday morning following a traffic collision in Anaheim as Tareq Altall, 30, of Torrance.
The fatal two-car crash happened at about 3:35 a.m. Saturday, July 3 in the westbound lanes of State Route 91 Freeway, just east of Imperial Highway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the CHP, a white BMW 330i collided with a black Honda Civic on the westbound side of the freeway.

Altall was pronounced deceased at the scene while another person was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.
The crash prompted the officers to temporarily close all westbound lanes of the freeway for several hours while the investigation and cleanup took place.
