Perris, California (July 7, 2021) – Three people were injured, one seriously, in a traffic collision in Perris Tuesday evening, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The wreck was reported at around 7:07 p.m. Tuesday, July 6 on El Sobrante Road near Vista del Lage Drive and involved two vehicles.

According to Cal Fire, one person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by firefighters. A total of three people were injured as a result of the crash.

One patient was transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries and two other victims were also hospitalized with minor injuries. Their identities and current condition were not diclosed.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
