Sylmar, California (October 27, 2020) – A 6-year-old boy on a scooter was struck and hurt by an alleged hit-and-run motorist in Sylmar Saturday evening, a local news source reported.
Authorities responded to the crash site at around 6:30 p.m., October 24, near the intersection of Cobalt Street and Encinitas Avenue.
The accident involved a motorcycle ridden by a male party, heading westbound on Cobalt Street, and the child who was riding his scooter in the evening hours.
Meanwhile, the motorcyclist did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
