2 Hospitalized after Sunol Accident on Highway 84 near 680 Freeway

Sunol, California (April 22, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized after being involved in a two-vehicle collision on a highway in Sunol Wednesday morning, April 21.
The head-on collision was reported at approximately 9:35 a.m. on Highway 84 at the Interstate 680 Freeway.
The accident involved a white Nissan Altima, a black Honda Accord, and other automobiles that crashed in the morning hours for unknown reasons.
Due to the impact, the two vehicles acquired major front-end damage.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, two unidentified persons were injured following the crash. The two patients were rushed to hospitals for medication.
The collision resulted in the closure of the westbound lanes of the roadway for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
