Stockton, California (March 25, 2021) –  At least one person suffered major injuries following a two-vehicle crash that happened Thursday morning in Stockton, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The major injury collision occurred at around 8:45 a.m. Thursday, March 25 on Sanguinetti Lane near Cherokee Road.

As per the CHP report, a black Honda collided with a silver Acura Maddox on Sanguinetti Lane. After the impact, one of the vehicles slammed into a power pole.

At least one patient was taken to a hospital with major injuries. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately disclosed.

A tow truck was dispatched to the crash site.

No other details about the crash were immediately available.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
