Stockton, California (September 27, 2020) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries Saturday evening following a traffic accident at an intersection in Stockton, according to a local news source.

The major-injury collision was reported to the California Highway Patrol at about 4:15 p.m. Saturday, September 26, at the intersection of Mariposa Road and Munford Avenue.

The CHP said a Honda CR-V collided with the motorcyclist at the Stockton intersection for an undetermined reason.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the motorcycle rider suffering from major injuries following the crash. The patient was then taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Honda CR-V remained at the scene.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
