Major Injuries Sustained in Stockton Car Collision on Highway 4 at John Turk Road
Stockton, California (September 4, 2019) – Authorities say major injuries were sustained when a big rig collided with a sedan Wednesday morning on a highway in Stockton.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at about 8:52 a.m. on Highway 4 at John Turn Road.
Officers said, for unknown reasons, a gray sedan crashed into the back of a semi-truck.
Paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that major injuries were sustained in the crash. The number of victims, however, was not mentioned.
The crash prompted the closure of all lanes of the highway until at about 9:27 a.m..
CHP is investigating the wreck.
