At Least 1 Killed in Highway 99 Accident at Arch Road
Stockton, California (January 8, 2019) – At least one person was killed Tuesday morning in a traffic accident near Stockton, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident was reported just after 5:00 a.m. on Highway 99 at Arch Road and involved two big rigs.
Details on how the collision happened were not immediately available, but CHP said at least one person died in the crash.
The name of the deceased has not been disclosed pending identification and notification of family.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash caused the closure of both the center and right lanes. Traffic was backed up to French Camp Road and motorists were urged to avoid the area.
