Stockton, California (October 24, 2020) – Two pedestrians were injured early Friday morning in an alleged hit-and-run crash at a Stockton intersection, authorities said.

The major-injury pedestrian accident, which was reported a little after 1:00 a.m., happened in the area of Aurora and Anderson streets.

According to the authorities, two men were walking near the intersection of Aurora and Anderson streets when they were struck by a vehicle.

The two men, ages 44 and 32, were taken to a local hospital, one with critical injuries. Their names and current condition were not disclosed.

The driver involved did not stop to render aid to the victims and fled the scene. There was no description of the suspect’s vehicle or the driver.

Police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
