5 Injured in End-of-Pursuit Crash on 37th Street in Exposition Park
LAPD Officer, 4 Civilians Injured in Exposition Park Accident on West 37th Street
Exposition Park, California (October 24, 2020) – A Los Angeles police officer and four civilians were injured Friday night after a police chase ended in a traffic accident in Exposition Park, according to authorities.
The crash involving two vehicles happened at around 9:44 p.m. Friday, October 23, in the 1388 block of West 37th Street.
Authorities said three people, ages 1, 17, and 40, were taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
The LAPD officer and the fifth patient refused declined hospital transport.
Further details about the crash were not immediately provided, and the accident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
