1 Sustains Severe Injuries in Stockton Crash on Interstate 5 near Benjamin Holt Drive Off-Ramp

Stockton, California (June 16, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle pileup that happened early Wednesday night in Stockton, leaving at least one person with serious injuries.
The incident occurred at around 12:41 a.m. on southbound Interstate 5 near Benjamin Holt Drive off-ramp.
As per the report, the collision involved three vehicles, including one that struck a parked big rig. The manner and cause of the crash were not mentioned.
One of the vehicles caught fire after the impact and got fully engulfed.
Stockton police and firefighters responded to the scene.
At least one person suffered serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening. An ambulance was sent to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.
Two vehicles, including the one that was completely burned, were towed away from the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
