1 Killed, 3 Hurt in Stockton Car Crash at March Lane and Da Vinci Drive
Stockton, California (February 8, 2019) – One person was killed when a chase suspect crashed into several vehicles at an intersection in Stockton early Friday morning, CHP said.
The wreck occurred shortly after 3 a.m. at the intersection of March Lane and Da Vinci Drive.
CHP said officers tried to stop a white pickup truck for speeding but the driver failed to stop and led the officers on a chase on city streets around March Lane.
The chase ended when the suspect crashed into three cars at the intersection of March Lane and Da Vinci Drive.
One driver, who was struck at the intersection, died in the accident. The other three drivers, including the suspect, sustained minor to major injuries.
The crash caused a closure of March Lane as the scene was investigated and cleared.
The accident remains under investigation.
