1 Killed in Stevenson Ranch Accident at North Verne Court and West Poe Parkway
Stevenson Ranch, California (November 9, 2020) – One person was killed Sunday evening in a single-vehicle crash in Stevenson Ranch, according to a local news source.
Shortly after 6:15 p.m. Sunday, November 8, the California Highway Patrol officers responded to the area of North Verne Court and West Poe Parkway for the reported accident.
According to the CHP, a Ford Fiesta was heading southbound on Poe Parkway when, for unknown reasons, it veered off the roadway and crashed into a light pole.
The vehicle then struck another signpost and slammed into a tree.
One occupant of the vehicle was declared dead at the scene. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of family.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
Police closed the No. 2 lane of Poe Parkway as the investigation and clean up took place.
The crash remains under investigation.
