Steven Garibay Killed in Car Accident at Van Buren Boulevard and Mason Street in Riverside
Riverside, California (January 24, 2021) – The Riverside County coroner’s office has disclosed the identity of a man who died in a single-car crash in Riverside on Saturday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened at about 12:24 a.m. in the area of Van Buren Boulevard and Mason Street.
Riverside City Police Department said 18-year-old Steven Garibay was driving his car southbound on Van Buren Boulevard approaching Mason Street when he lost control.
The vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a light pole.
Garibay was killed in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
