Steve Leon Killed in Paso Robles Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Meadowlark Road and Deer Spring Drive
Paso Robles, California (July 6, 2021) – 22-year-old Steve Leon has been identified as the Paso Robles pedestrian who died following a pedestrian accident Saturday morning in Paso Robles, according to a report by the Paso Robles police.
The fatal hit-and-run collision happened at about 1:40 a.m., on July 3, near Meadowlark Road and Deer Spring Drive.
Leon was reportedly struck by a vehicle whose driver escaped the scene after the crash.

Steve died at the scene after being hit by a second vehicle whose driver also fled the crash site.
Meanwhile, 32-year-old Christopher Winters of Paso Robles was arrested at approximately 4:00 a.m. and later booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of hit-and-run.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
