Stanislaus County, CA: Semi-Truck Accident on Interstate 5
1 Airlifted after Fiery Stanislaus County Collision on Interstate 5 near Stuhr Road Off-Ramp
Stanislaus County, California (July 23, 2021) – One person was airlifted to a hospital Thursday evening following a fiery traffic collision in Stanislaus County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At around 7:15 p.m. Thursday, July 22, the CHP officers responded to Interstate 5 near Stuhr Road exit to investigate the report of a crash involving a pair of semi-trucks.
Upon arrival, they determined that an Amazon truck collided with a semi-truck on the northbound side of Interstate 5. Both trucks caught fire after the collision.

One person suffered burns and was airlifted to a hospital.
Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
