Motorcyclist Injured in Spring Valley Crash at Jamacha Boulevard(Highway 54) and Pecos Street
Spring Valley, California (July 11, 2020) – A motorcyclist was injured Friday night in a traffic crash at a Spring Valley intersection, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 9:10 p.m. Friday, July 10, at the intersection of Jamacha Boulevard and Pecos Street. Jamacha Boulevard is also known as Highway 54.
As per the CHP report, a blue Ford Fiesta collided with the motorcyclist at the Spring Valley intersection.
Minor Injury Crash on Highway 54 and Pecos Street in Spring Valley
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist lying down on the roadway. The rider, whose name not immediately disclosed, was treated for minor injuries at the scene by paramedics.
Both lanes of the road were closed for more than an hour as authorities investigated the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
