Spechelle Pope Among 2 Killed in Palmdale Accident at North 11th Street and West Rancho Vista Boulevard
Palmdale, California (June 9, 2021) – Spechelle Pope was among two people who died in a fiery car collision that occurred early Wednesday morning near the Antelope Valley Mall in Palmdale, according to a local news source.
The incident occurred at around 12:30 a.m. in the area of North 11th Street West and West Rancho Vista Boulevard.
According to the report, a Dodge Challenger traveling at a high rate of speed rear-ended a Toyota Corolla and slammed into a light pole.
The impact caused the Toyota to catch fire.

Pope was a passenger in the Toyota. Pope and the driver were both killed in the incident.
The driver of the Challenger abandoned the vehicle at the scene and jumped into an Infiniti that fled from the scene.
Authorities said they are investigating to determine whether street racing was involved.
