Merced, California (June 9, 2021) – A Merced accident involving a truck Tuesday afternoon seriously injured one person, the California Highway Patrol said.
A gray passenger automobile and the white big rig reportedly crashed on State Route 59 near the Sandy Mush Road just before 2:25 p.m.
It was not immediately established how the collision occurred on June 8.
Due to the impact, one person was pinned inside the damaged gray car and had to be rescued by firefighters.

The extricated victim sustained major injuries in the accident.
