South San Francisco, California (January 4, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a motorcycle accident Wednesday evening in the area of South San Francisco, according to a local news source.
The accident happened a while before 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, on northbound Highway 101 near Oyster Point Boulevard on-ramp.
As per the report, a sports motorcycle and a white Honda Civic crashed for reasons still under investigation.
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and attended to both the rider and the car driver who may have suffered injuries due to the collision.
Authorities closed the lanes following the collision. The Nos. 2 and 3 lanes were reopened as of 8:13 p.m. while lane 1 remained blocked.
