5 Injured in Ceres Hit-and-Run Accident at Mitchell Road and Service Road

Ceres, California (January 4, 2018) – Five people were injured Thursday night in an alleged hit-and-run accident at an intersection in Ceres, authorities said.
The crash happened at an unspecified time Thursday, January 3 at the intersection of Mitchell Road and Service Road.
According to the authorities, two vehicles collided head-on for reasons still under investigation at the intersection. One of the drivers reportedly fled the scene on foot and was last seen heading eastbound on Service Road.
Two boys, who were occupants of the other vehicle, were airlifted to UC Davis Medical Center in unknown condition. The names and conditions of three other people at this time remained unknown.
Police are searching for the Hispanic man, who is 6 feet 1 inch tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt, white shoes, jeans, and t jacket.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
