South Lake Tahoe, California (April 18, 2021) – A driver was hospitalized following a Friday evening traffic collision in South Lake Tahoe, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported at around 5:44 p.m. Friday, April 16, on State Route 89, just north of Pickett’s Junction, the California Highway Patrol said.

According to the CHP, a green Ford Explorer SUV was heading northbound on State Route 89 when the driver lost control resulting in the vehicle rolling down an embankment.
