At Least 1 Injured in Sonoma County Collision on Highway 37 near Sears Point
Sonoma County, California (September 9, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car accident that happened in Sonoma County sending at least one person to the hospital.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening on Highway 37 near Sears Point.
Authorities said four vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash, and a helicopter was requested to transport the victim to the hospital.
The collision caused slowed traffic in the area of the crash as some lanes were closed for the airship to land. All lanes were reopened at about 5:05 p.m.
