Sonoma County, California (April 12, 2021) – One person died and two others were hospitalized following a car accident that took place in Sonoma County late Saturday night, April 10.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly crash site at about 11:31 p.m. on Highway 1 at Valley Ford Road west of Bloomfield in Sonoma County.

As per the report, two pickup trucks crashed head-on on the highway for undetermined reasons.

Due to the impact, one of the vehicles burst into flames with one person pinned inside the wreckage.

One unidentified victim died in the accident.

Meanwhile, paramedics rushed two other parties to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for medication

The wreck resulted in the closure of Highway 1 up to early Sunday,
