Bakersfield, California (April 12, 2021) – A minor died after beings struck by a train in Northwest Bakersfield Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly accident happened just before 6:40 p.m. Sunday, April 11, on the railroad tracks near Santa Fe Way and Renfro Road, the CHP reported.
Authorities said the pedestrian, described as an older teen possibly in their early 20s, was hit by the train while walking on the tracks.
