Sonoma, California (June 10, 2019) – Possible injuries were sustained after a big rig collision Monday morning in the area of Sonoma, according to authorities.

The crash occurred at around 6:41 a.m. Monday, on Lakeville Highway and Highway 37, just north of Sleepy Hollow Dairy.

As per the CHP officials, a big rig and a sedan collided for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The number of injured parties and their current condition was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

A SigAlert was issued closing the lanes following the crash.

No additional information concerning this collision was provided.

An investigation is underway.
