Somis, CA: 3-Vehicle Accident on State Route 118 at Clubhouse Drive
Injuries Reported in Somis Crash on State Route 118 (Los Angeles Avenue) at Clubhouse Drive
Somis, California (December 9, 2020) – Injuries were reported Wednesday morning in a traffic accident in Somis, Ventura County.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 6:00 a.m. on State Route 118 at Clubhouse Drive. State Route 118 is also known as Los Angeles Avenue.
As per the CHP report, a gray Toyota Prius, a silver Ford Focus and a white Ford Explorer SUV collided on State Route 118 for unknown reasons.
After the collision, the SUV veered off the roadway and into a ditch. Emergency crews responded to the scene and found two vehicles blocking the westbound lanes.
The extent of injuries sustained in the crash was not immediately disclosed.
All three vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the crash site.
No other details about the accident were immediately provided.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
